Named to the 2011 Power List of Long Island’s “Top 50 Influentials” by Long Island Press, Katherine Heaviside, president of Epoch 5 Public Relations, has counseled corporate and not-for-profit enterprises for the past 30 years.  

Under Katherine’s direction, Epoch 5 was awarded the Silver Anvil Award, the PR industry’s most coveted award, and the national Mercury Award, for recognition of excellence in the PR community.  

Among her many honors, Katherine was named a New York State Woman of Distinction and a “Top Influential” by Long Island Business News.  She has been recognized by Women on the Job and is the recipient of Promote Long Island’s  pirit of Long Island Award for Entrepreneurship.  She is a charter member of Top 50 Women on Long Island Hall of Fame.

Katherine is a member of the Executive Board of the Long Island Association and former board member of North Fork Bank.  She also serves on the boards of several business associations, as well as educational and humanitarian organizations.
