Grant Parpan (@grantparpan) is the web editor for Times/Review Newsgroup in Mattituck, NY. He also regularly contributes reporting to both The Suffolk Times and Riverhead News-Review newspapers.

Parpan has worked at Times/Review since 2006 and previously served as editor of their North Shore Sun newspaper.

He started his career in 2003 as a sports reporter at The Signal, a daily newspaper in Santa Clarita, California, where he later served as sports editor.

Over the past nine years, he has won more than a dozen awards from the New York Press Association, the National Newspaper Association, the California Newspaper Publisher's Association, the Long Island Press Club and the Associated Press News Executive Council.

The North Shore Sun twice won the Stuart C. Dorman Award for Editorial Excellence, NYPA's top editorial prize, during his tenure.
